Riding Ready Position focuses on whether your body can organise itself into a functional, neutral position at rest on the horse.
Riding is not static, but if you can’t find and maintain a ready position before the horse moves, it becomes very difficult to control your body once movement and force increase.
The aim is not to teach you how to ride or tell you where to put yourself.
It’s to help you understand what your body needs to be able to do so movement becomes possible and compensation is reduced.
This course forms the foundation for the Riding Ready framework and works with the other sections of the Riding Ready Position (Stirrups, Reins, Symmetry, Putting it all Together) and Movement courses
